Modis Chicago is seeking a skilled Large Client Focused Technical Recruiter to join our growing and successful team. In this role, the IT Recruiter, also known as the Resource Development Manager (RDM), will be responsible for developing relationships with IT consultants to place them on assignments with Modis' clients. The focus will primarily be on supporting our large/vendor-managed clients in Chicago. This is a new role for the office, and the successful candidate will be expected to deliver results immediately while helping to build a large client team. Maintaining and further developing relationships with IT consultants is crucial to building a long-lasting commitment to Modis. Additional duties will include sourcing candidates, qualifying them, negotiating pay rates, and building consultant relationships, as well as maintaining the database.

Responsibilities

  • Develop relationships with IT consultants to place them on assignment with Modis' clients.
  • Support large/vendor-managed clients in Chicago.
  • Deliver results immediately and help build a large client team.
  • Maintain and further develop relationships with IT consultants.
  • Source candidates and qualify them for assignments.
  • Negotiate pay rates with candidates.
  • Build and maintain consultant relationships.
  • Maintain the database of candidates and clients.

Requirements

  • 2-3 years of IT recruiting experience in a similar customer-facing role.
  • Extreme attention to detail and organization is required.
  • Desire for a long-term career, not looking for contract recruiters or job hoppers.
  • Comfortable working with various VMS tools (Beeline, Fieldglass, PeopleClick).
  • Expert level understanding of MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Basic understanding of various technologies and an IT recruiting background.
  • Exceptional communication and phone skills with a great personality.
  • Highly organized and extremely success motivated.
  • Bachelor's Degree is required.
  • Must be comfortable making 300+ calls per week.
  • Strong desire to be a top performer.
