About the position

The Technical Lead Architect - Salesforce B2B Commerce at Capgemini is responsible for leading the development and administration of eCommerce projects utilizing Salesforce Core Commerce B2B. This role requires extensive experience in web development and eCommerce applications, along with the ability to manage technical teams and ensure adherence to development standards. The position involves collaboration with various stakeholders and technical leadership to facilitate successful project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and administration of eCommerce projects using Salesforce Core Commerce B2B.
  • Perform code reviews and manage pull requests to ensure code quality.
  • Verify task estimates and assign tasks to developers based on their skills.
  • Provide direction and feedback to developers to enhance their performance.
  • Document complex functionalities in code and maintain comprehensive documentation.
  • Manage version control through Git, including planning and creating branches and performing merges.
  • Utilize Atlassian JIRA for ticket, sprint, and release management.
  • Use Atlassian Confluence for documentation management.
  • Assist developers with sandbox and environment issues.
  • Liaise with 2nd and 3rd party technical leadership for integrations.
  • Perform application builds and deployment to the appropriate platform environment.

Requirements

  • Minimum 7 years of experience in web development and eCommerce projects.
  • At least 3 years of recent experience specifically in Salesforce Core Commerce B2B.
  • Expertise in developing eCommerce and web applications.
  • Proficient in managing the administration of the Salesforce platform.
  • Current developer certification in Salesforce.
  • Proficient in using Git for version control and management.
  • Experience with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence for project management and documentation.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with additional programming languages or frameworks related to web development.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and practices.
