About the position

The Technical Lead - Full-Stack Developer at RIVA is responsible for leading the development of mobile applications that support the Federal Government's field data collection mission. This role involves providing technical direction, managing full-stack development tasks, and ensuring the successful implementation of various programs, particularly focusing on the Listing and Mapping Application (LiMA) and Mobile Case Management (MCM). The position requires strong technical skills in .NET and Oracle, as well as effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical direction as the lead developer for the Listing and Mapping Application (LiMA).
• Develop and maintain client applications and backend APIs using C# .Net Core framework.
• Manage and develop a SQLite client database.
• Understand and implement data collection and storage in a disconnected state.
• Ensure encryption and decryption of data for the client application.
• Support mapping technologies including C++/C# and Spatialite/GeoJSON.
• Provide Tier 2/3 support for LiMA systems and troubleshoot user issues.
• Upgrade software packages and manage .Net updates using Fluent Migrator.
• Utilize tools such as GitHub, Jenkins, Octopus, Nexus, and Jira for development and deployment.
• Communicate technical issues effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
• Manage deployments to development, testing, and production environments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 8+ years of experience as a Developer and Technical Lead in full-stack development.
• Proven knowledge and experience with application development in C# .Net Core Framework.
• Expert knowledge in software packages such as Fluent Migrator.
• Expertise in tools including GitHub, Jenkins, Octopus, Nexus, and Jira.
