About the position

CACI is seeking a Technical Lead to provide comprehensive IT-focused software lifecycle support, including DevOps and infrastructure lifecycle services. This role involves leading a mixed team of remote and on-site professionals in software development, incident management, and system enhancements using Agile principles. The Technical Lead will oversee the transition from HighVIEW 4.x to HighVIEW 5.x, ensuring quality and timely delivery of software modules that meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the planning, design, development, and implementation of new system capabilities and enhancements.
  • Make proactive recommendations on system improvements, automation, and risk management.
  • Mentor team members in their professional development and project goals.
  • Perform expert-level troubleshooting and resolution of user-reported system issues.
  • Design, develop, and implement software and database in an Angular application with limited oversight.
  • Use JIRA to review, assign, and track issues, and document resolutions.
  • Lead proactive efforts to identify potential underlying issues impacting system function and performance.
  • Conduct root-cause analysis for major system issues and develop solutions.
  • Guide technical team members across the software development life cycle and Operations and Maintenance.
  • Lead the analysis, validation, refinement, and documentation of business requirements.
  • Plan and execute sprints for delivering incremental functionality and corrective fixes.
  • Oversee the creation, documentation, and validation of test cases by team members.
  • Identify improvement opportunities by assessing business process and system inefficiencies.
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) and DevOps activities.
  • Analyze computer and information needs from an operational and strategic perspective.
  • Develop long-term strategic objectives to satisfy user requirements.
  • Perform horizontal system integration planning and interface with other functional areas.
  • Serve as point of contact for non-routine installation projects for communication networks.
  • Work closely with Program and Project Managers on performance criteria and project completion.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI w/ Polygraph
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field
  • 10+ years of related work experience

  • Experience with developing replacement systems and meeting user expectations

  • Experience with PL/SQL
  • Experience with WCF RESTful Web Services (c# .NET) or equivalent REST technologies
