About the position

The Manufacturing Integration- IT Manager Technical at SATG Supply Chain IT is responsible for understanding, defining, and prioritizing IT requirements related to manufacturing integration. This role involves overseeing various IT initiatives, managing a team of integration specialists, and ensuring seamless data exchange between manufacturing systems and SAP S/4 modules. The position emphasizes leadership, project management, and the application of technical expertise to drive efficiency and innovation in manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Drives programs, business initiatives, and new cross-organizational projects.
  • Oversees installation, system upgrades, migrations, outages, and provides ongoing maintenance support for computer systems, software, hardware, and network components.
  • Develops project estimates, timelines, milestones, and resource coordination for projects.
  • Monitors the success of IT initiatives and evaluates processes, tools, and technologies for improvement.
  • Sets priorities for the team, develops employees, and manages performance.
  • Leads a team of integration specialists in designing and implementing MES-SAP S/4 integration.
  • Defines technical requirements, data mapping strategies, and interface specifications for data exchange between MES and SAP S/4 modules.
  • Configures and manages middleware platforms for efficient data flow between systems.
  • Implements error handling mechanisms using SAP AIF to resolve integration issues.
  • Develops and maintains monitoring dashboards for integration performance.
  • Collaborates with cross-functional teams to align integration solutions with production efficiency goals.
  • Mentors and guides team members, fostering a culture of innovation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field and 9+ years of experience, or High School Diploma/equivalent and 15+ years of experience in managing IT teams, projects, and budgets.
  • Experience managing relationships with internal business partners, third-party vendors, and service providers.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with SAP PP, MM, FI modules.
  • Experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • Knowledge of real-time, high-volume systems integrations.
  • Familiarity with API/Micro-services based architecture and integration error management.
  • Proficiency in designing and implementing integration solutions using Apache Camel or Spring Integration.
  • Experience with messaging protocols such as JMS, REST, SOAP, AMQP.
  • Hands-on experience with JSON, XML, XSLT, and data serialization/deserialization techniques.
  • Knowledge of middleware platforms like Red Hat Fuse, Talend, or similar ESB platforms.
  • Proficient in using Git for version control and CI/CD pipelines.
