About the position
The Technical Lead position at Koniag Management Solutions involves providing technical leadership and support for application development and security functions. The role requires overseeing Level-3 support, developing solutions for complex application problems, and managing system administration and integration tasks. The Technical Lead will also implement DevOps practices and recommend software tools for development processes, all while ensuring compliance with government standards and maintaining a Secret clearance.
Responsibilities
- Oversee application development and security functions.
- Provide Level-3 support and develop solutions to complex application problems.
- Perform systems management and integration functions.
- Provide hardware, software, performance, and communication recommendations as part of application design.
- Direct personnel to task completion and manage multiple tasks with varying complexity and priority.
- Assign, track, and follow-up with assigned technical tasks within the group.
- Provide status updates on technical tasks to project and program managers as needed.
- Propose and implement DevOps, CI/CD, continuous testing, and continuous monitoring aligned with Agile methodology.
- Analyze and recommend development software and tools for designing, producing, testing, and documenting change requests.
Requirements
- Valid Secret Clearance license.
- Experience in VPN and network security.
- Proficiency in Red Hat Linux, Microsoft Operating Systems, and VMWare.
- Knowledge of Oracle databases and related technologies.
- Experience with Java/JEE and related troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with wireless networks, WANs/LANs, and firewalls/routers.
- Understanding of cloud technologies such as AWS GovCloud and Microsoft Azure.
Nice-to-haves
- Experience with Docker Containers and CI/CD tools like Jenkins.
- Familiarity with DISA technologies and processes.
