About the position

The Technical Lead at HealthEdge Software Inc. is responsible for overseeing the technical team and managing all projects undertaken by the team. This role involves analyzing project briefs, writing progress reports, identifying risks, and developing work schedules. The Technical Lead is expected to inspire and motivate the team while ensuring that projects are completed to standard and on time. Continuous learning and industry knowledge expansion are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Determining project requirements and developing work schedules for the team.
• Delegating tasks and achieving daily, weekly, and monthly goals.
• Liaising with team members, management, and clients to ensure projects are completed to standard.
• Identifying risks and forming contingency plans as soon as possible.
• Analyzing existing operations and scheduling training sessions and meetings to discuss improvements.
• Keeping up to date with industry trends and developments.
• Updating work schedules and performing troubleshooting as required.
• Motivating staff and creating a space where they can ask questions and voice their concerns.
• Being transparent with the team about challenges, failures, and successes.
• Writing progress reports and delivering presentations to the relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field (foreign equivalent is acceptable).
• 5 years of employment experience in software development.
• Demonstrated employment experience in applying technical, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
• Demonstrated employment experience in coding and implementation using an SQL server.
• Demonstrated employment experience in RDBMS concepts.
• Demonstrated employment experience in Agile Scrum methodologies.
• Demonstrated employment experience in data migration.
• Demonstrated employment experience working in the HealthCare domain.
