About the position
The Technical Lead position involves researching, designing, and developing computer and network software or specialized utility programs. The role requires reviewing and approving design decisions, code changes, and technical documentation while providing guidance and technical expertise to ensure successful project delivery. The Technical Lead will also perform advanced diagnostics, track and debug production issues, and enhance systems based on client requirements.
Responsibilities
- Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs.
- Review and approve design decisions, code changes, and technical documentation.
- Provide guidance, technical expertise, and support to ensure successful project delivery.
- Perform advanced diagnosis and examine system configurations, customer data, UNIX systems, and error logs to identify problems.
- Track and debug the severity of production issues.
- Provide enhancements based on client requirements.
- Perform thorough code reviews to maintain code quality, identify potential issues, and enforce coding standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, IT, or a related field.
- Five (5) years of experience in the job offered or a related position.
- Demonstrable knowledge of C/C++, UNIX, Oracle PL/SQL, Perl, Python, Java, Apache Cassandra, Apache Kafka, Rating and Billing Configuration(s), Vertex Taxing applications, DBeaver, JIRA, Soap UI, XML, FileZilla, WinSCP, SVN, Putty.
