About the position

The Technical / Management Volume Writer plays a crucial role in the proposal development process by analyzing Requests for Proposals (RFPs) to identify specific requirements for their assigned sections. This position involves close collaboration with the Proposal Manager and Volume Lead to develop and identify win themes that will enhance the proposal's competitiveness. The writer is responsible for creating draft page layouts and mockups, as well as identifying and sketching artwork that will be incorporated into the final proposal. To ensure the content is accurate and relevant, the writer will conduct interviews with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to gather necessary information and insights, which will be used to create draft content for each section of the proposal. Using a Microsoft Word-based proposal template and adhering to the proposal style guide, the Technical / Management Volume Writer will draft each section of the proposal.
