In this role, you will lead software delivery workstreams while adhering to JSM and SPO processes. Your primary focus will be on synchronizing customer needs with design requirements and program timings to ensure that quality software is deployed on time. You will be responsible for evolving tools and processes that facilitate this deployment, which includes participating in PI Planning, conducting sprint retrospectives, and refining the backlog. A key aspect of your role will be to understand and execute change and incident management effectively. You will liaise with all areas of software development, release activities, and deployment owners to ensure seamless communication and collaboration. You will navigate from the roadmap to actionable plans, influencing sequencing, resolving dependencies, and identifying as well as mitigating risks. Your ability to communicate direction and product priorities to the development team and other matrixed teams will be crucial. You will also convey timelines, deliverables, risks, delays, and impacts to project team members, ensuring that everyone is aligned and informed. Proactively leading teams to assess and measure risks will be part of your responsibilities, ensuring that Program Increments (PIs) and their associated Epics remain on track. A customer-focused and data-driven approach is essential in this position. Your technical expertise in the DevOps field, particularly in Continuous Delivery (CD), will be vital. You will also need to possess strong storytelling abilities and an understanding of user experience (UX). The ability to analyze and interpret data will be necessary to make informed decisions. Previous development experience, particularly in Python and Golang, will significantly enhance your candidacy, as this role requires a solid foundation in both front-end and back-end development. With over 5 years of experience in managing large and technically complex projects, you will be expected to evaluate, define, and roll out effective solutions. A Bachelor of Science in Engineering or Computer Science is required, along with 2-3 years of experience as a developer.
