About the position

NetApp is seeking a Senior Technical Marketing Engineer (TME) specializing in ONTAP security to enhance its position as a leader in Intelligent Data Infrastructure. The role involves creating technical go-to-market materials for various stakeholders, collaborating with product management and engineering on security features, and maintaining expertise in security technologies and standards. The TME will represent NetApp's security capabilities to customers and partners, engage in customer briefings, and participate in trade shows.

Responsibilities

• Create and disseminate technical go-to-market collateral for customers, internal teams, and sales partners.
• Collaborate with product management and engineering to define security-focused ONTAP features.
• Maintain a technical understanding of security technologies and standards.
• Work with third-party vendors to achieve ONTAP integration and best practices.
• Represent NetApp's security capabilities in customer meetings and trade shows.
• Develop and communicate security-laden marketing messages and key customer value differentiators.

Requirements

• At least 12 years of experience in Technical Marketing with a proven history of bringing technical products/services to market.
• Experience in generating customer-facing content such as white papers, technical reports, and presentations.
• Strategic knowledge in secure by design concepts and NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
• In-depth skills in storage security for on-prem and cloud-based solutions.
• Extensive experience with network/cyber security, authentication, encryption, and anti-ransomware.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and influence teams toward common goals.
• Broad knowledge across product management, engineering, customer support, and marketing.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with certifications and compliance such as FIPS, CC, STIG, and DoDIN APL.
• Hands-on skills involving ONTAP are a plus.
• Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, or similar credentials.
