About the position

The Technical Marketing Manager - Motion Production is responsible for executing technical marketing strategies to enhance product adoption and market growth for motion production products. This role involves collaboration with sales and marketing teams to effectively communicate technical features and benefits, oversee field testing, conduct competitive analysis, and support field marketing efforts.

Responsibilities

  • Implement comprehensive technical marketing strategies for motion production products that align with overall business goals and objectives.
  • Identify and communicate the key technical features and benefits of motion production products by creating compelling technical marketing messages that resonate with target audiences.
  • Contribute to and orchestrate the technical aspect of product launches, including the creation of technical documentation, positioning documents, presentations, product demonstrations, whitepapers, case studies, webinars, and videos.
  • Coordinate with the marketing team to develop and execute marketing campaigns that highlight the technical capabilities of motion production products.
  • Act as the primary technical liaison for key customers and partners, providing technical support and addressing inquiries related to motion production cameras and lenses.
  • Conduct technical training sessions and workshops for the internal field marketing team, customers, partners, and internal teams.
  • Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape.
  • Analyze technical marketing performance metrics and provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing teams to inform product development and ensure technical marketing efforts are aligned with product development and sales strategies.
  • Provide technical input and support for sales and marketing initiatives, including trade shows, events, and online marketing activities.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in cinema camera and broadcast optics technology and industry standards.
  • Serve as the in-house technical expert for motion production cameras and lenses, providing guidance and support to internal teams.
  • Enhance the company's reputation as a leader in motion production technology by participating in industry events, speaking engagements, and contributing to industry publications.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with industry influencers, media, and technical communities.
  • Participate in the execution of comprehensive field marketing initiatives to drive sales and brand awareness for motion production cameras and lenses.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED (advanced degree preferred)
  • 5+ years work experience in a fast paced and highly competitive sales environment.
  • Ability to research and analyze various different types of data and make sound business judgments focused on achieving results.
  • Ability to prioritize work and sales opportunities.

  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a close team environment, self starter who can motivate others.
