Join the award-winning team at Santa Monica Studio as a Technical Narrative Designer for the development of a new unannounced title! We are looking for a passionate individual who thrives in a collaborative environment and has the technical expertise to bring narrative experiences to life. In this role, you will work closely with the Lead Narrative Designer to ensure that the intended narrative vision is realized through the design and implementation of quality narrative systems. You will utilize our proprietary tools, including visual scripting systems and Maya, to author narrative content and implement narrative sequences, mechanics, and systems that enhance the player experience. As a Technical Narrative Designer, you will collaborate with design and cross-discipline partners to ensure the full realization of the narrative vision. Your contributions will be vital in supporting the tone, voice, and deeper themes of the game, aligning with the overall game direction. You will also work with engineering to develop tools that facilitate efficient and iterative development of narrative content.
