About the position

The Technical National Account Manager at Rittenhouse Communications Group is responsible for managing key accounts across the United States, serving as the primary contact between the company and its clients. This role focuses on understanding client needs, aligning company products and services accordingly, and overseeing the entire client lifecycle from proposal to project management and post-installation support. The position emphasizes relationship building, strategic planning, and ensuring customer satisfaction without direct sales responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with key customers, including national accounts.
  • Execute sales strategies, promotional plans, and pricing strategies to increase sales and market share.
  • Analyze sales statistics, customer data, and market trends to determine sales potential and technology requirements.
  • Monitor and report on sales performance, customer feedback, and competitive landscape.
  • Negotiate contracts and resolve issues with clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, such as sales and engineering, and attend industry events.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and brand consistency throughout the client lifecycle.
  • Provide daily and weekly updates to client stakeholders.
  • Use company templates to build proposals for national projects, including new construction and retrofits.
  • Act as project manager for all national projects, managing remote resources for installation and deployment.
  • Act as the point person for client training post-installation.

Requirements

  • Experience as a National Account Manager.
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Experience in construction and low voltage cabling deployments.
  • Experience with security projects, including access control and CCTV installations.
  • Experience with VoIP deployments.
  • Networking experience (both wired and wireless networks) is a plus.
  • Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient with CRM and design software.
  • Professionalism and leadership skills.
  • Ability to travel as needed (2-3 times per year).
  • BA/B.Sc. degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • PMP certification preferred.
