About The Position

The Video Services Product Experience team at DISH is focused on enhancing the streaming entertainment experience for customers. This role involves analyzing customer feedback, identifying technical issues, and collaborating with various departments to prioritize and implement fixes for the Sling TV web and commerce platforms. The position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills to advocate for improvements based on customer insights.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university; or three years related experience and/or training; and two plus years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in Google Sheets, Microsoft Excel, as well as knowledge of database basics (e.g. SQL, MS Access).
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical abilities, with proficiency in mathematical concepts (fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions, statistics, probabilities, algebraic expressions, etc.) and ability to define problems, seek and collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
  • Experience in Python, Java, C++, or C# is a plus.
  • Experience with Adobe Commerce is a plus.
  • Well-developed verbal and written presentation skills, with the ability to summarize complex concepts into understandable and easy-to-follow presentation materials.
  • Experience with or ability to work in a fast-paced environment; and excellent teamwork skills with ability to establish productive working relationships with other departments and personnel.
  • Sharp attention to detail is a must; high personal standards for quality and thoroughness.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Python, Java, C++, or C# is a plus.
  • Experience with Adobe Commerce is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Review feedback from internal and external customers through tools and forums for potential product issues.
  • Identify, reproduce and quantify customer-facing technical issues in our web and commerce platforms.
  • Coordinate with various departments such as IT, Operations, Product and Programming to plan for business changes that may impact overall stability, and prioritize fixes.
  • Develop and archive documentation referencing release notes, projects, and product stability processes.
  • Submit tickets for, track and document technical issues that arise.
  • Use Google Sheets, Tableau, and other tools to manipulate data and generate reports and analyses.
  • Facilitate fix prioritization meetings for leadership, clearly illustrating problems and the impact to the customers and business.
