About the position

The Technical Operations Specialist (Action Officer) at Parsons is responsible for providing day-to-day operations support to the US Army PEO IEW&S Integration Directorate. This role involves coordinating tasks, managing information, and producing technical documentation while collaborating with a diverse team of government and military personnel. The position requires strong communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, ensuring the successful execution of key missions.

Responsibilities

  • Execute suspense coordination and serve as the proponent for all taskers, requirements, and RFIs requiring PEO IEW&S Integration Directorate review and action.
  • Monitor various sources for received taskers and requirements, including the Integration Directorate email inbox and HQDA Enterprise Task Management Software Solution (ETMS2).
  • Establish and maintain a database and electronic files to capture critical information pertaining to Integration Directorate programs/efforts within the directorate SharePoint Site.
  • Prepare weekly/quarterly reports to headquarters, participate in weekly staff meetings, coordinate external meetings/visits, and manage government property.
  • Serve as a technical practitioner in areas relevant to the project.
  • Produce and review technical documentation reflecting detailed knowledge of specific technical areas.
  • Recommend measures to improve methods, performance, and quality of product or service, and suggest changes to increase efficiency.

Requirements

  • Minimum Associate Degree or 2 year technical school in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or related scientific or technical discipline; Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • A minimum of three (3) years relevant experience demonstrating knowledge, skills, and abilities to execute the duties of this position.
  • Solid experience in Microsoft 365 products, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Project, Teams, and SharePoint.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting analysis and developing solutions in the application of information technology.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to brief Integration Directorate leadership on programs and efforts tracked.
  • Must possess a US DoD secret clearance or higher.
