About the position

The Technical Platform Manager (TPM) at Marsh McLennan Agency (MMA) is responsible for overseeing the Platform Services team, focusing on system availability, incident management, and change management processes. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and leadership skills to support various functions, including the Insurance Agency Management application suite and compliance. The TPM will play a crucial role in facilitating team communication and ensuring continuous improvement within the organization.

Responsibilities

• Monitor system availability and manage incident responses.
• Oversee change management processes and plan system upgrades.
• Facilitate team communication and conduct daily standups.
• Support the Insurance Agency Management application suite and compliance functions.
• Establish protocols for investigating unusual activity and tracking incidents.

Requirements

• A minimum of 10 years of IT experience, including at least 5 years in a management role focused on the Vertafore suite of products, particularly Sagitta, ImageRight, and Benefit Point.
• Proven experience in managing projects, including planning for system upgrades and overseeing change management processes.
• Ability to conduct assessments of system uptime and performance metrics.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Familiarity with incident response management and establishing investigation protocols.
• Experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
• Leadership aptitude to oversee a team of experienced technical resources.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing project requirements.
