About the position
The Technical Project Manager will lead high-impact projects within the Global Markets/Risk Technology team in the financial services industry. This role involves managing key stakeholders, ensuring timely delivery of projects, and addressing project specifics as necessary. The ideal candidate should have substantial experience in project management, particularly in capital markets, risk technology, and trading floor applications.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage multiple projects, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and scope
- Develop and maintain project plans, budgets, and timelines
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues
- Communicate project status and progress to stakeholders and leadership
Requirements
- 5-10 years of proven project management experience in capital markets
- Experience with risk technology and traded products; familiarity with trading floor applications is preferred
- Proficiency in Python or SQL for scripting purposes
- Highly analytical, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Excellent written, presentation, and communication skills
- Strong knowledge of SDLC and the ability to manage and influence across teams
