About the position

As part of the Global E-commerce Engineering team, the Technical PMO plays a crucial role in managing complex, cross-functional projects that drive the end-to-end delivery of new products and features to market. This position is integral to bridging various teams, including Product and Engineering, ensuring that strategic programs are delivered efficiently and effectively. The Tech PMO is responsible for the tools, processes, and efficiency measurement of the tech teams, aiming to enhance organizational synergy and delivery efficiency to boost business growth. In this role, you will engage in general project management activities, which include preparing project schedules, defining milestones, tracking progress, identifying and mitigating risks, and leading Agile/Scrum teams. You will also create and maintain roadmaps and feature lists in collaboration with Tech and Product leaders, ensuring that the collaboration process and tools are optimized for the best user experience. A data-driven approach will be essential in defining and improving processes, and you will be expected to embrace the team's culture and principles. The Global e-commerce business team is dedicated to providing users with a tailored, active, and efficient consumption experience, enabling merchants to receive stable and reliable platform services across various scenarios such as live e-commerce and short video content e-commerce. As a Tech PMO, you will be at the forefront of this mission, helping to make high-quality products accessible and affordable to users around the world.

Responsibilities

• Manage a variety of complex, cross-functional projects.
• Work closely with Product, Engineering, and various Global e-commerce teams to drive the end-to-end delivery of new products and features to market.
• Prepare project schedules and define milestones.
• Track and report progress, identify and mitigate risks, and remove blockers.
• Lead Agile/Scrum teams as a coach or scrum master.
• Ensure smooth product/app releases to market.
• Create and maintain the Roadmap/feature lists for the teams you work closely with, along with the respective Tech and Product leaders.
• Own the collaboration process and tools, provide training, and optimize the tool's user experience.
• Define the way of driving programs and constantly find ways to improve the process in a data-driven manner.
• Embrace the team's culture and principles.

Requirements

• BA/BS degree or above with 5+ years of project delivery or process optimization experience, technical background is a plus.
• Understanding of project frameworks with a data-driven mindset is essential; understanding Agile is desirable.
• Self-motivated with a proven track record of getting things done; ability to handle multiple projects in parallel.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to succeed in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Experience working in multi-time zone, multi-culture environments is preferred.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
• Passionate about the Internet industry and willing to grow with the company.
