About the position

The Privacy Technical Analyst at AEG is responsible for configuring, maintaining, and optimizing the OneTrust platform to support privacy compliance and data governance initiatives. This role collaborates with various teams, including legal, security, marketing, and IT, to ensure the platform aligns with organizational policies and regulatory requirements. The analyst will also provide technical support, develop documentation, and monitor compliance with global privacy regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Configure and customize the OneTrust modules to meet business and regulatory requirements.
  • Continuously monitor and improve the performance of the OneTrust platform.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity within the OneTrust platform.
  • Provide technical support and training to end users on the OneTrust platform.
  • Collaborate with internal business partners to ensure compliance with global privacy regulations.
  • Develop and maintain documentation related to the OneTrust platform.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the OneTrust platform.
  • Create and maintain dashboards, reports, and analytics for data-driven decision-making.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with OneTrust for support and enhancements.
  • Conduct random audits of systems and vendors integrating with OneTrust.
  • Oversee Data Subject Rights requests to ensure compliance with privacy regulations.

Requirements

  • BA/BS Degree in relevant fields such as law, information privacy, or information technology.
  • 4-6 years experience in privacy, data protection, compliance, or IT administration.
  • 2+ years in administering and managing the OneTrust platform or similar software.
  • Proven experience with privacy SaaS platforms, specifically OneTrust.
  • Experience supporting compliance initiatives for GDPR, CCPA, and other regulations.
  • Experience working with various departments such as Legal, Marketing, and IT.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Comprehensive understanding of global privacy regulations and their application to technology solutions.
  • Strong understanding of the OneTrust platform and its modules.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-haves

  • CIPP/US, CIPP/EU and/or CIPM Certification preferred.
  • OneTrust certification(s) preferred.
  • Familiarity with data management tools, database queries, and scripting languages (e.g., SQL, Python) is a plus.
