About the position

The Technical Product Analyst for Digital Radio at Moody Bible Institute is responsible for providing technical support, analytics insights, quality assurance testing, and troubleshooting for digital audio systems. This role involves training, testing, and analyzing product functionality and usage, while also tracking uptime and error reports to enhance the efficiency of Moody Radio's digital services.

Responsibilities

  • Perform manual quality assurance testing on new and break-fix development for digital audio systems and platforms.
  • Ensure development meets specified standards in user stories, requirements documents, or tickets.
  • Communicate testing status and results via phone, email, ticketing system, or Slack.
  • Troubleshoot and provide advanced second-tier support for break-fix issues.
  • Respond to requests from internal constituents and external customers, clarifying issues and seeking resolutions.
  • Recommend workarounds and report issues for long-term resolution.
  • Act as the owner of assigned support tickets for the Web Technologies Team.
  • Advocate for timely resolution of issues, communicating with all involved parties.
  • Track ongoing open issues in the ticketing system and monitor error reporting.
  • Prepare monthly uptime and availability reports and research improvements for product uptime.
  • Provide advanced technical training to users of audio delivery systems and platforms.
  • Maintain documentation of digital audio systems and track issues and changes.

Requirements

  • Experience with digital audio content and various digital audio platforms.
  • Experience with Content Management Systems like WordPress or Squarespace.
  • Strong technical aptitude with the ability to learn new technologies regularly.
  • Detail-oriented with a natural understanding of logic and consistency.
  • Natural curiosity to understand how things work and seek resolutions.
  • Strong writing and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a collaborative and changing environment.
  • Legal eligibility to work in the US without sponsorship.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with data analytics tools like Google Analytics and podcasting analytics.
  • Experience with REST APIs and low-code API tools like Zapier or Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Experience with video-centric platforms like YouTube & Twitch and live video streaming platforms.
  • Experience with podcast and video creation systems.
