About the position

The Payroll Supervisor at McDonald's is responsible for leading the payroll processing team, ensuring compliance with internal controls, and managing the garnishment process for US employees. This role involves guiding payroll operations for global mobility assignees and analyzing departmental metrics to enhance service delivery. The position emphasizes exceptional customer service and collaboration across various departments to achieve business goals.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a high performing team focused on exceptional customer experience and quality results in compliance with internal and governmental deadlines.
  • Manage through ambiguity and develop proactive thinking.
  • Build effective internal and global partnerships and promote cross-functional collaboration to achieve business goals.
  • Partner cross-functionally to design, develop, and implement new processes and enhancements for superior execution.
  • Develop and implement continuous improvement recommendations for cost and processing efficiencies and improved employee experience.
  • Solve complex situations, analyze root causes, and identify sustainable solutions.
  • Ensure global assignees' payroll components are processed correctly in OracleHCM and charged to global markets as per assignment agreements.
  • Guide the team in processing involuntary payroll deductions from garnishing authorities, including reviewing reports and resolving exceptions.
  • Communicate effectively with various business areas including IT, Legal, US Payroll, HR, Operations, and employees.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field preferred.
  • 3+ years of experience analyzing information.
  • 3+ years of experience solving problems at work.
  • 3+ years of experience developing, collecting, and reporting metrics and SLAs.
  • 3+ years of experience identifying process efficiencies and implementing sustainable solutions.
  • Experience leading a team.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with Oracle HCM Cloud.

  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
