About the position

The Technical Product Management Advisor at FedEx serves as the product visionary and subject matter expert, focusing on the product's features and capabilities. This role involves managing the product backlog and roadmap, ensuring maximum value at minimum cost, and collaborating with product and engineering teams to enhance product integrations. The position is part of the Financial Planning & Analysis organization, which is developing new data and analytics capabilities to improve financial performance analysis and drive business change.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the product visionary and subject matter expert on product features and capabilities.
• Track and modify end-user usage to ensure maximum value at minimum cost.
• Manage the product backlog and roadmap.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to lead product integrations and deliver valuable product improvements.
• Design and lead product vision development strategies considering product life cycle and business user needs.
• Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to define product use cases and user journeys.
• Prioritize new product features to achieve maximum business outcomes.
• Lead and/or facilitate user acceptance testing.
• Maintain and create technical documents and user guides.
• Lead product demos, keeping in mind the 'voice of the customer'.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and provide subject matter expert support.
• Perform product setup, configuration, and support.
• Lead and/or facilitate end user training.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Product Marketing, Economics, Business, Computer Science/Technologies or related field.
• 5-7 years of work experience in product management, market analysis, or research.
• Superior knowledge of competitive, market, and economic factors affecting product performance.
• Expert communication and presentation skills.
• Strong project management and leadership experience.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in finance roles or product management in finance.
• Knowledge of logistics, transportation, accounting, and data architecture.
• Experience with Oracle EPM product, Databricks, Azure, PowerBI, and SQL.
