About the position

The Technical Product Manager - Advanced at Siemens Digital Industries Software is responsible for managing the lifecycle of product solutions within the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) framework. This role involves gathering customer requirements, prioritizing product features, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure successful product development and market introduction. The position requires a blend of technical expertise and business acumen to translate market needs into viable software solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Gather requirements from customers and prioritize release content.
  • Develop business use cases and coordinate with product development and validation teams.
  • Take released products to market through direct interaction with sales, services, and customers.
  • Act as Product Owner for assigned Industry solutions.
  • Build solution definitions and prepare the backlog for development teams.
  • Work with stakeholders to understand market requirements and align on product definitions.
  • Develop solution roadmaps including MVP and phasing plans.
  • Prioritize deliverables based on business objectives.
  • Collaborate with product development teams to build software based on requirements.
  • Identify and mitigate risks with delivery teams.
  • Enable cross-industry applicability of capabilities with Solution directors.
  • Lead alignment efforts with Product Managers across segments.
  • Support product marketing and sales in product validation and go-to-market strategies.
  • Perform hands-on demonstrations of solutions for stakeholders.
  • Assist in determining pricing and packaging of products.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
  • 8+ years of experience with enterprise and SMB customers in key industries.
  • 10+ years of experience in software product development or implementation.
  • 2+ years in application software product management.
  • Experience in developing strategic visions for products and solutions.
  • Proficient in authoring product specifications and marketing content.
