Bloomberg's CTO Office is the innovative technical and product arm of Bloomberg L.P., dedicated to envisioning, designing, and prototyping the next generation of infrastructure, hardware, and applications for the Bloomberg Terminal. Our team is at the forefront of applying AI, Machine Learning, and Natural Language Processing (NLP) in finance, having established ourselves as trailblazers in this domain for over a decade. We are passionate about building models and systems that facilitate sentiment analysis, classification, question answering, document understanding, recommendation, and more, utilizing state-of-the-art AI techniques, including generative AI. As a Technical Product Manager for AI Platforms, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the product roadmap for our AI platforms. This position is critical to ensuring that our platforms are future-proof, expanding our user base, and developing new features and capabilities to fulfill our mission. You will collaborate closely with a team of highly motivated product managers working on various adjacent AI projects, and you will interact extensively with internal stakeholders from product and engineering. This role requires a balance of technical expertise and business acumen, as it is situated in a high-leverage, cross-functional environment. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering internal products in the MLOps automation space, focusing on infrastructure that meets the unique needs of developers managing production AI-powered applications at Bloomberg. Your efforts will ensure that our AI solutions are robust, performant, and reproducible. You will partner closely with AI product teams to accelerate their machine learning projects, with an emphasis on maintaining and scaling machine learning operations throughout the AI lifecycle. Additionally, you will engage with machine learning and data science experts to understand their workflows and technical requirements, developing a deep understanding of their continuous annotation, training, evaluation, and serving needs. You will also be tasked with developing a long-term technical strategy, roadmap, framework, guard rails, design patterns, and tools for the model development lifecycle.
