About the position

The Technical Product Manager for Cloud Intelligence at Amazon Web Services (AWS) is responsible for driving the roadmap strategy and defining products that automate and streamline resources for AWS Global Sales. This role focuses on improving sales efficiency, accelerating sales motions, and enhancing the adoption of AWS Cloud Services. The ideal candidate will engage with various stakeholders to identify customer needs, define product strategies, and deliver high-quality products that leverage software, data, and generative AI.

Responsibilities

  • Engage with AWS Global Sales to understand pain points and needs in the sales function.
  • Define customer personas and journeys, identify critical use cases and opportunities, and brainstorm related product ideas.
  • Author well-researched and detailed working backwards documents to review product ideas with senior executives.
  • Define product vision, strategy, and roadmap, and articulate clear product requirements and UX.
  • Explore ways to leverage GenAI in every aspect of the product(s).
  • Define product goals and success metrics, manage prioritization, and evaluate trade-offs.
  • Be the voice of the customer and work directly with cross-functional teams to execute on the roadmap.
  • Manage business reporting for senior management review on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
  • Leverage strong written and verbal communication skills, and data analytical capabilities to drive business decisions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
  • Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition.
  • Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product.
  • Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product.
  • Experience managing technical products or online services.
  • Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning.
  • Experience in using analytical tools such as Tableau, QlikView, and QuickSight.
