About the position

The Technical Product Manager - Data Products will lead the strategy, development, and implementation of data products and analytics solutions that align with business planning and goals. This role focuses on defining the product roadmap, prioritizing features, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful data solutions that facilitate data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the product vision and roadmap for data analytics and reporting tools.
  • Prioritize product features and enhancements based on business value and market trends.
  • Lead cross-functional teams including engineering, data science, operations, and sales.
  • Communicate product plans and progress to stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to design scalable data architectures and integrations.
  • Ensure data quality and integrity across all data products and platforms.
  • Gather and synthesize requirements from internal stakeholders.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations by providing regular updates and incorporating feedback.
  • Implement Agile/Scrum practices to manage product development cycles.
  • Facilitate sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and market research to identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Ensure all data products comply with relevant regulations and industry best practices.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management, particularly in data analytics or business intelligence.
  • Strong understanding of data architectures, databases, and data warehousing.
  • Proficiency with data analytics tools such as SQL, Power BI, Tableau.
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and product management tools.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.

Nice-to-haves

  • Master's degree or MBA.
  • Experience in a startup environment.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
  • Knowledge of CRM systems and customer data platforms.

Benefits

  • Competitive salary range of $115,000 - $125,000 per year.
  • Full-time position with in-person work location.
