About the position
The Technical Product Manager for Development Excellence at Agoda is responsible for driving the development of essential platforms and tools that empower the engineering organization. This role involves owning the product lifecycle from concept to launch, collaborating with various stakeholders, and ensuring seamless operations across the company. The position requires strong leadership and communication skills to bridge the gap between business and technical teams, while also demonstrating technical confidence to manage product velocity and technical debt.
Responsibilities
- Own the product from concept to design, specification, implementation, and analysis.
- Gather and synthesize requirements and input from multiple stakeholders including internal product teams, engineers, and business teams.
- Lead in-person conversations with internal customers to understand user needs, priorities, and feature considerations.
- Drive product development projects from concept to launch in a fast-paced environment.
- Exhibit excellent leadership and communication skills to align teams and influence without authority.
- Bridge business and technical worlds effectively, articulating opportunities and solutions.
- Work with senior/lead engineers to balance product velocity and technical debt.
Requirements
- 3+ years of technical product management experience in a fast-paced innovative environment.
- 5+ years of total technical experience in areas such as Software Engineering or Developer Experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a self-starter attitude.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and shifting priorities.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for both business and technical teams.
- Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills, comfortable using data for decision-making.

- Experience with analytics, statistics, SQL, and BI tools.
- A problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt to challenges.
