About the position

The Technical Product Manager for Digital and Web is a pivotal role responsible for leading the product vision, operations, strategy, and roadmap for the digital and web platforms. This position is crucial in delivering engaging and seamless user experiences across multiple channels and devices, including applications such as T-Life, Benefits Hub, and T-Mobile Tuesdays. The role requires a hands-on approach, with the ability to navigate current tools and technologies effectively. In this capacity, the Technical Product Manager will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including cyber security, technology and product groups, network, engineering, design, marketing, sales, and customer success. The goal is to define and deliver innovative and scalable solutions that meet the needs and expectations of customers and stakeholders. The manager will oversee the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch and beyond, ensuring that all products and releases align with the team's, organization's, and company's goals and values. Additionally, the Technical Product Manager will maintain roadmaps, goals, OKRs, and metrics that align with the overall operational health and DevOps lifecycle of the release process. This includes planning, product management, product engineering, release management, and monitoring. The role demands a strategic mindset, with a focus on optimizing product functionality and usability through data-driven insights and performance metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and communicate the product vision, product operations, product strategy, and roadmap for the domain management, digital and web platforms.
  • Research and analyze market trends, customer feedback, user behavior, and competitive landscape to identify product opportunities and requirements.
  • Define and prioritize product features and specifications, collaborating with the engineering team to deliver high-quality, user-centric solutions.
  • Manage the product backlog and release planning, coordinating product launch and post-launch activities, including testing, documentation, training, and support.
  • Establish and track product performance metrics and KPIs, leveraging data to optimize product functionality and usability.
  • Lead and mentor engineering, testing, and other product teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and customer focus.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • At least 10 years of product management and product engineering experience in the digital and web domain, preferably in a B2B or B2C environment.
  • Proven track record of delivering successful digital and web products from ideation to launch and beyond.
  • Strong knowledge and experience in AWS Cloud, Akamai, and other relevant technologies and tools.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate the product vision to various audiences.
  • Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to handle ambiguity and complexity.
  • Customer-centric mindset with a passion for creating engaging user experiences.
  • Familiarity with agile and lean product development methodologies.
