About the position

The Technical Product Manager for Enterprise Applications at the University of Idaho is responsible for the planning, design, and development of enterprise applications, ensuring their success and alignment with the university's growth. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, overseeing product development stages, and managing stakeholder relationships to deliver reliable and scalable business-critical applications.

Responsibilities

• Understanding and representing user needs
• Defining a vision and roadmap for a product
• Aligning stakeholders around the vision for the product
• Prioritizing product features and capabilities
• Managing a product backlog
• Overseeing development stages and evaluating progress
• Serving as a liaison between stakeholders and development
• Collaborating across teams to empower independent decision-making
• Administering applications
• Providing high-level reporting to departments across the university
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Experience in product management or related field
• Strong understanding of enterprise applications and ERP systems
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
• Experience with agile methodologies
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
