About the position

The Technical Product Manager for Enterprise Justice at Tyler Technologies will play a crucial role in defining and delivering high-quality enterprise API, data, and integration solutions. This position is integral to the Product Management team as the company transitions to a technology-led strategy for Courts & Justice. The role requires a deep understanding of product integration and platform capabilities, ensuring that client needs are met through effective product direction and use case selection.

Responsibilities

  • Developing a hands-on understanding of client problems to provide actionable inputs for product direction.
  • Performing requirements analysis and project decomposition to enable efficient delivery by engineers.
  • Supporting leadership in evaluating merger & acquisition opportunities from a technical perspective.
  • Contributing to business cases and optimizing product investments through analysis and validation of business assumptions.
  • Leveraging a strategic partnership with AWS to evaluate technologies and solutions to solve business problems.
  • Championing agile product development and improving the product development process continuously.
  • Driving the establishment of an end-to-end vision and multi-year roadmaps for assigned product areas.
  • Tracking value delivered, product adoption, and performance against roadmaps, adjusting as necessary.
  • Ensuring roadmaps integrate dependencies across functional areas.
  • Partnering with stakeholders to understand customer needs and providing strategic technical solutions.
  • Creating strategic alliances with stakeholders to surface challenges and drive efficiencies.
  • Establishing and monitoring product and usage metrics to provide data-informed recommendations.
  • Creating and validating service contracts, user scenarios, and technical requirements.
  • Communicating information in User Stories to support user needs and program functions.
  • Traveling to meet users and participate in research, design, and feedback sessions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related discipline.
  • 5 or more years of experience in a fast-paced, data-driven environment.
  • Ability to represent 'the voice of the customer' in technical discussions.
  • Expertise in agile software development methodologies and practices.
  • Experience in creating and leading product and technology presentations to senior leaders.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to learn unfamiliar technologies quickly.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of AWS services.
  • Experience making build/buy/partner recommendations.
  • Experience working with offshore teams.
