About the position
The Technical Product Manager will play a crucial role in Apple's Information Systems and Technology group, focusing on developing and managing critical data processing platforms. This position involves overseeing the entire product lifecycle, from understanding customer needs to product launch, while collaborating with various teams to enhance Apple's operational efficiency and product offerings.
Responsibilities
- Own and develop critical data processing platforms.
- Manage the end-to-end product lifecycle from customer scenarios to product/feature evangelism.
- Work closely with data engineering leaders and architects to align on technology and business integration roadmaps.
- Develop centralized, automated data-driven product analytics frameworks.
- Drive adoption of cloud data platforms at scale with speed.
- Partner with other Product Managers on cross-product initiatives while ensuring security, privacy, and compliance.
- Present product capabilities to diverse audiences, including developers and executives.
- Manage a robust customer community for product areas.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in a Technical Product Management role with large-scale data handling.
- Experience crafting product roadmaps from conception to launch.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Proficiency with modern databases such as Snowflake, AWS, and SingleStore.
- Advanced SQL skills and familiarity with big data technologies.
- Understanding of modern data architecture, data pipelines, and data management systems.
- Collaborative mindset to work with Engineering Teams and Dev Ops.
