About the position

The Technical Product Manager at Exowatt will lead high-impact product initiatives within the renewable energy sector. This role involves setting product direction and strategy, overseeing comprehensive roadmaps for product portfolios, and driving strategic innovation to deliver products that define the future of renewable energy. The position requires collaboration with various internal teams to ensure effective project execution and the development of new analytical models to support business operations.

Responsibilities

• Provide project leadership and direction in guiding various internal teams to ensure timely and effective project execution within the Agile development framework.
• Lead sprint planning and direct the implementation of critical and complex projects which typically involves and impacts multiple business unit stakeholders.
• Guide the development of new or enhance existing analytical models using programming or scripting languages or perform quantitative studies to support many aspects of the business.
• Administer current forecast solutions including model training, new site setup and customer service.
• Plan and execute on a multi-generational product plan.
• Lead new product development initiatives, oversee process improvement projects and contribute to technical analytical systems.
• Create excellent technical documentation - slide decks, testing plans and reports, procedures, assembly, vendor specifications, and statements of work, etc.
• Assist in recruiting and interviewing efforts to help build our amazing team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business or Engineering.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Experience building 0-1 products from the ground up within the renewable energy industry, aerospace, or other hard-tech industries.
• Excellent communication skills.
