Umpqua Bank is seeking a Technical Product Manager II to manage banking products, services, and delivery channels from conceptual stages through research, development, marketing, training, sales programs, performance tracking, and the product life cycle. This role is crucial in supporting the Bank's strategic goals and objectives. The Technical Product Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of assigned products and the research and development of new products for the product line. This includes evaluating and enhancing actively sold and serviced products, identifying opportunities for revenue enhancements, tracking profitability, and managing changes to assigned products. The role requires evaluating the impact of regulatory changes, conducting risk assessments, incorporating Bank initiatives, and performing customer needs analysis on new and/or enhanced products and services. The Technical Product Manager will utilize customer feedback, customer and industry surveys, associate input, and analysis of competitor products and services to maintain awareness of new trends and developments in banking products and services. This involves conducting competitive analysis, market assessments, and researching the feasibility of new products and delivery channels. The manager will assist with assessing and reporting on the effectiveness, revenue generation, market penetration, and profitability of new and existing products and services, measuring and tracking financial performance volume against established goals. Additionally, the role includes assisting with the creation of business plans, business requirements, and developing technical specifications for new products and services. The Technical Product Manager will lead projects, including developing project plans, presentations, training materials, communications, and other information related to product launches. Compliance with all bank regulations for assigned job functions is essential, and the manager will keep up to date on regulation changes. The position may also involve coaching, mentoring, or training others and teaching coursework as a subject matter expert.
