Umpqua Bank is seeking a Technical Product Manager II to manage banking products, services, and delivery channels from conceptual stages through research, development, marketing, training, sales programs, performance tracking, and the product life cycle. This role is crucial in supporting the Bank's strategic goals and objectives. The Technical Product Manager will be responsible for managing a portfolio of assigned products and the research and development of new products for the product line. This includes evaluating and enhancing actively sold and serviced products, identifying opportunities for revenue enhancements, tracking profitability, and managing changes to assigned products. The role requires evaluating the impact of regulatory changes, conducting risk assessments, and incorporating Bank initiatives and customer needs analysis into new and/or enhanced products and services. The Technical Product Manager will utilize customer feedback, customer and industry surveys, and associate input to analyze competitor products and services. They will maintain awareness of new trends and developments in banking products and services by conducting competitive analysis, market assessments, and researching the feasibility of new products and delivery channels. Additionally, the manager will assist in assessing and reporting on the effectiveness, revenue generation, market penetration, and profitability of new and existing products and services, measuring and tracking financial performance against established goals. The role also involves assisting with the creation of business plans, business requirements, and developing technical specifications for new products and services. The Technical Product Manager will lead projects, developing project plans, presentations, training materials, communications, and other information related to product launches. Compliance with all bank regulations is essential, and the manager will keep up to date on regulation changes. They may also coach, mentor, or train others and teach coursework as a subject matter expert.
