About the position

The Technical Product Manager, IT Director at Johnson & Johnson is responsible for leading technology solutions in Large Molecule manufacturing IT. This role involves collaborating with business and IT stakeholders to define technology visions, drive product standardization, and ensure alignment with business goals. The position requires a strong focus on customer service, team collaboration, and the ability to mentor technical talent while staying current with industry trends and best practices.

Responsibilities

  • Engage in discovery conversations to explore business needs and determine technology solutions.
  • Define the technology vision in alignment with business goals and objectives.
  • Partner with business and IT stakeholders to identify appropriate technology solutions and define the application landscape.
  • Act as the end-to-end Technology Subject Matter Expert (SME).
  • Review business drivers and strategies to highlight implications for applications and platforms.
  • Drive technology product standardization and strategies for best-in-class design and user experience.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional technology teams to translate business requirements into technology solutions.
  • Establish technology roadmaps and support delivery and deployments for cost efficiency and optimization.
  • Define solutions and designs for current and new platform applications, communicating implications to stakeholders.
  • Mentor and develop technical talent, providing coaching and growth opportunities.
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends.
  • Provide technical leadership and guidance to the engineering team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 8-10 years of relevant IT strategic work experience
  • Proven expertise in creating IT solutions
  • Excellent customer service, interpersonal, communication, and team collaboration skills
  • Experience with Business agility and Agile delivery
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze situations and make informed decisions.
