About the position

The Technical Product Manager for MarTech at General Motors will leverage their expertise in marketing technology to define and execute product roadmaps, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver modern marketing tools. This role involves leading technical discussions, managing vendor relationships, and ensuring alignment between business and IT teams to enhance omni-channel campaign capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Define product vision, roadmap, backlog, and strategic direction.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external teams to understand technical concepts.
• Groom and define backlog and sprint plans in collaboration with the MIT team.
• Manage technology, strategy, or agency vendor relationships directly.
• Align product roadmap, delivery, and vision with business and IT teams.
• Communicate and evangelize product vision to executive leadership.
• Foster collaborative relationships with key partners across business pillars.
• Oversee development of feature requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Support building business cases, quarterly business reviews, or presentations related to the product.

Requirements

• 5 years of relevant experience as a Product Manager, Solution Owner, or Solution Architect.
• A Bachelor's degree is required.
• Deep understanding of core marketing functions and tools such as Adobe, Pega, Salesforce.
• Hands-on experience with Marketing Technology Platforms like CDP, DMP, DAM, CRM systems.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Ability to mix technical and creative aspects of product management and marketing.
