In this opportunity as Technical Product Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving the vision and execution for one of the CoCounsel Machine Learning teams within Thomson Reuters Labs. This position involves product management for a cross-functional team of technical professionals, including applied scientists and research engineers. Thomson Reuters Labs is dedicated to applied research, focusing on the development and application of AI and emerging technologies. The team collaborates closely with stakeholders to experiment, prototype, test, and deliver innovative solutions aimed at creating smarter and more valuable tools for customers in the legal, tax, and regulatory fields. The goal is to harness the power of proprietary big data and emerging technologies to solve complex real-world challenges. As a Technical Product Manager, you will define, socialize, drive, and report on product Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) and their corresponding Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). You will assemble the technical product vision and roadmaps, define epics and features, collect and review user feedback, refine user requirements, prioritize tasks, drive execution, and adjust delivery schedules as needed to ensure progress towards OKRs. You will partner with leadership to plan for adequate team resourcing, effective collaboration, and to properly estimate and communicate delivery timelines. Your role will also involve ensuring alignment with partnering product, engineering, content, design, and subject matter expert teams, while identifying and implementing communication patterns that facilitate collaboration while protecting team focus. Additionally, you will provide technical guidance to partner product teams during all phases of development, including solution brainstorming, prioritization, technical feasibility scoping, and UX research/design. Balancing factors such as cost, time to market, and resourcing will be crucial to optimize iterative value delivery for customers. This role requires a strong understanding of the end-to-end model development lifecycle, particularly in applied AI research, and a passion for continuous innovation.
