About the position

The Technical Product Manager Principal for Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC) at Starbucks plays a crucial role in leading the evolution of GRC services and technology solutions. This position is responsible for balancing immediate business needs with long-term strategic goals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality outcomes that enhance the company's cybersecurity posture. The role involves collaboration with various stakeholders to influence strategic roadmaps and deliver organizationally agnostic data and technology solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Lead impact analysis, planning, readiness, and design/development for GRC services.
  • Facilitate engagements to achieve key GCS/GRC strategic outcomes.
  • Establish and improve cross-functional GCS/GRC capabilities and services.
  • Act as a global champion for GRC initiatives, ensuring proper scoping and planning with global partners.
  • Influence and align strategic roadmaps across cybersecurity and business teams.
  • Provide technical expertise and advice on business, data, and technology frameworks.
  • Ensure quality and success of deliverables by documenting and performing processes consistently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience using analytics and optimization tools for product planning.
  • 5+ years of experience working with design and engineering teams to deliver customer-facing features.
  • 7 years of hands-on experience in developing product roadmaps and managing product backlogs.
  • 3 years of experience managing product delivery in an agile environment.
  • 10+ years of industry experience in a technology environment delivering complex products.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a leadership role within a technology organization.
  • Familiarity with global industry frameworks related to cybersecurity and compliance.
