About the position

We are looking for a Technical Product Manager to help develop the next generation of robots powering Amazon's Fulfillment Network. In this high-impact and high-visibility role, you'll partner with AR's talented software and hardware engineering teams to define, develop, and manage robotic workcells. This position will be responsible for financial analysis, feature definition and prioritization, managing voice of customer feedback, and developing and maintaining product roadmap(s) across the full product lifecycle. As the Voice of the Customer for several product lines, you will oversee the product lifecycle from initial concept creation to launch, and subsequent support of the product. You will drive product development efforts, including research, requirements definition, metrics analysis, technical specifications, development, and launch efforts. Your role will also involve assisting in developing new products by evaluating the business and competitive landscape, understanding customer needs and value drivers. You will be responsible for writing business and product requirements documents and ensuring clear communication and coordination of requirements to the business, design, and development teams. Collaboration across functions will be key to managing bottlenecks, providing escalation management, anticipating and making trade-offs, balancing business needs versus technical constraints, and maximizing business benefit while building great customer experiences. Additionally, you will measure and analyze existing products for opportunities to innovate and improve, providing additional benefits to customers. Presenting confidently to Amazon senior management and other large audiences will also be part of your responsibilities.

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to manage bottlenecks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make trade-offs, balance the business needs versus technical constraints, and maximize business benefit while building great customer experiences.
  • Measure and analyze existing products for opportunities to innovate and improve, providing additional benefits to customers.
  • Research and identify new opportunities.
  • Present confidently to Amazon senior management as well as other large audiences.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent.
  • 4+ years of customer-facing product development and product management experience, including defining, launching, and optimizing product and services experience.
  • Experience in delivering technology products/services in a high growth environment, with a demonstrated ability to translate customer needs into business and product requirements.
  • Experience in delivering technology/products in the logistics, manufacturing, or automation sectors.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to think clearly, analyze quantitatively, solve problems, scope technical requirements and prioritize project work.
  • Sound business judgment, proven ability to influence others, and strong analytical thinking skills.
