About the position

As a Technical Product Manager at Splunk, you will play a pivotal role in driving the development and execution of our internal value-driven product strategy solution set. This position requires you to work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, marketing, and sales, to define product requirements, prioritize features, and propel the product roadmap forward. Your technical expertise and strategic vision will be essential in ensuring that our offerings evolve to meet the dynamic needs of our sales team and customers. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining a comprehensive product roadmap that aligns with company goals, identifying opportunities for innovation in sales processes. You will gather and prioritize product requirements based on customer feedback and business goals, translating these goals into actionable product features. As the primary technical liaison between product management, engineering, and other teams, you will provide guidance on technical feasibility and implementation strategies. You will coordinate with engineering and QA teams to plan and implement product releases, monitor progress, and mitigate risks. Engaging with customers through interviews, surveys, and user testing will be crucial for collecting feedback and advocating for customer needs in product decision-making. Additionally, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and communicate product updates and priorities regularly.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive product roadmap aligned with company goals, finding opportunities for innovation in sales processes.
  • Work closely with collaborators to collect and prioritize product requirements based on customer feedback and business goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • 3-5 years of experience in technical product management, ideally in B2B SaaS.
  • Understanding of software development methodologies, technical architectures, and cloud computing.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Track record of driving product innovation and successful product launches.
  • Experience with agile development methodologies and product management tools.
  • Passion for technology and a customer-centric mindset.
