About the position

As a Technical Product Manager at GXO, you will play a crucial role in leading strategic discussions with business partners to gather functional requirements and translate them into product strategies. This position involves cultivating product positioning, defining rollout strategies for new features, and providing production-level support for operational go-lives. You will ensure that product directions align with user needs and business goals, while facilitating cross-functional communication and decision-making.

Responsibilities

  • Lead strategic discussions with business partners to gather functional requirements and translate to product strategy
  • Cultivate product positioning and benefit statements, partnering with the marketing team to create collateral
  • Define a thoughtful, detailed and executable rollout strategy for new features, releases and products
  • Provide production level support for Operations and Technology partners for operational go-live and ongoing deployment validation
  • Provide clear direction to project team members on prioritization of functional requirement delivery timelines
  • Facilitate cross-functional communication and decision-making, while developing key stakeholder relationships
  • Ensure that product directions balance user needs and business goals
  • Participate in and lead standups, iteration planning sessions, product demos, and retrospectives

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
  • 2+ years' experience in Technical Product and Project Management
  • Technical knowledge of Warehouse Management Systems (WMS), ERP Systems, Order Management Systems (OMS), Transportation Management Systems (TMS) and other Supply Chain Software
  • Experience with Agile methodologies
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications

Nice-to-haves

  • 5 years technology Product Management experience
  • 5 years' experience in Supply Chain or Warehousing operations
  • Proven experience in leading innovation, influencing stakeholders and driving a product roadmap
  • Mid to senior level Technical Product experience, including leading meetings and presenting to business stakeholders
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively under stressful or ambiguous conditions
  • Self-motivated and able to work well with minimal direct supervision
