About the position

The Technical Product Manager for the Retail Pharmacy and Healthcare domain will play a pivotal role in leading the development and implementation of innovative solutions that align with the company's modernization strategy and vision. This position requires a deep understanding of the retail pharmacy and healthcare landscape, as well as a strong technical background to effectively manage the product lifecycle from conception to launch. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of working in agile environments, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, and business stakeholders to deliver high-quality products that meet customer needs and drive business value. In this role, the Technical Product Manager will assume end-to-end responsibility for the strategic value, usability, and performance of the solutions developed. This includes managing the product backlog, prioritizing features based on customer feedback and business requirements, and ensuring that the team is aligned on goals and deliverables. The candidate will also be responsible for developing detailed user stories with clear acceptance criteria, facilitating discussions that lead to innovative solutions, and driving product launches in collaboration with various stakeholders across the enterprise. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of product management principles, and the ability to influence key stakeholders in design and planning decisions. They will also be expected to analyze metrics that measure product success and continuously seek opportunities for optimization and process improvements within the team. Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of creative, high-quality requirement roadmaps based on Modernization strategy and vision.
  • Assume end-to-end responsibility for the strategic value, usability, and performance of our solutions.
  • Influence key stakeholders in design and planning decisions.
  • Manage prioritization and trade-offs among experience, scope, and time to market.
  • Work closely with frontend/backend engineering teams, design, and stakeholders in an agile environment to deliver solutions to market.
  • Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues to help the team meet business, financial, and technical goals.
  • Manage backlog planning and development through day-to-day collaboration and decision making with a cross-functional team including engineers, designers and business or subject matter representatives.
  • Develop detailed, crisp user stories with acceptance criteria based on customer needs/experience and business requirements that can be used to create product specifications and architecture.
  • Work with UX Research to design usability and research studies to inform product requirements and influence product design and experience.
  • Own and manage the backlog; continuously orders and prioritizes to ensure that 1-2 sprints/iterations of backlog are always ready.
  • Define and analyze metrics that measure and benchmark solution success.
  • Drive product launches including working with business stakeholders, engineers, and other cross-functional teams across the enterprise.
  • Play an active role in optimization and process improvements, for teams to easily understand, build, and maintain best-in-class software systems.
  • Provide leadership, technology guidance, and mentor others throughout their domain.
  • Demonstrate superior product and industry knowledge.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in computer science or a closely related discipline, or an equivalent combination of formal education and experience.
  • 2+ years of experience in Retail Pharmacy/Healthcare domain as functional SME.
  • 5+ years of experience working as Technical Lead/Design lead/Solution lead/Technical Product Manager.
  • In-depth experience with building application programming interfaces (API) and consumer-facing solutions.
  • Understanding of distributed systems, cloud computing, and microservices architectures.
  • Strong business process acumen with experience in supporting business stakeholders.
  • Business-level communication skills are a must.
  • Skilled in negotiation to align stakeholders and communicate a single synthesized perspective to the scrum team.
  • Database knowledge in SQL, NoSQL, table structure, and data relationships.
