About the position

The Search, Summarize, and Insights Technical Product Manager will lead the development of Natural Language Processing (NLP) and Generative AI workflows aimed at enhancing knowledge management and generating insights from unstructured data, particularly in drug discovery and development. This role focuses on delivering tailored solutions for text understanding, collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams, and driving software product innovation and reuse.

Responsibilities

• Drive the development of NLP and Generative AI workflows for knowledge management.
• Lead the delivery of tailored solutions for text understanding use cases.
• Collaborate with technical leads and stakeholders to ensure strategic vision adoption.
• Engage with users and sponsors of data science, ML, and AI products.
• Implement and standardize ML/LLM Ops for model evaluation and monitoring.
• Present approaches and impacts of team implementations to internal and external audiences.

Requirements

• Experience in product management for data- and ML-driven products from conception to deployment.
• Experience leading agile software development teams and applying agile best practices.
• Knowledge of technical software development best practices, including continuous integration.
• Familiarity with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) management and compliance standards.
• Ability to engage cross-functional teams and stakeholders effectively.
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills, including scientific communication.
• Proficiency in Python programming and full-stack software development.
• Experience with version control and collaboration tools like git, and environment management tools.
• Knowledge of data engineering frameworks like Apache Spark and orchestration frameworks like Airflow.
• Understanding of statistical learning methods, particularly in NLP contexts.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with semantic search and retrieval frameworks.
• Familiarity with NLP and Generative AI libraries and text annotation tools.
