About the position

The Technical Product Manager for Slingshot HPC/AI Workloads at Hewlett Packard Enterprise is responsible for identifying, creating, and delivering product requirements, benchmarking, and sales enablement materials. This role focuses on the CPU/GPU server side of the Slingshot solution, collaborating on benchmarking activities for AI/HPC workloads, and working closely with the R&D team to enhance server software solutions. The position requires a deep understanding of high-performance computing and AI systems, and involves representing the Slingshot Product Management team to various stakeholders, including sales teams and customers.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee and drive all application, workload, and AI/HPC framework efforts for the Slingshot Product Management team.
  • Define the value proposition, target customer segments, and business case for innovative solutions in the Slingshot portfolio.
  • Synthesize technical requirements into marketing/customer details based on customer knowledge.
  • Advise key stakeholders on portfolio strategy across all lifecycle phases.
  • Create and drive goal alignment and collaborate across solution value chain partners to optimize margins.
  • Maintain relationships with other HPE business units and outside companies for software integrations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in computer science, engineering, or related field of study.
  • 5+ years of work experience with high-performance compute or AI systems.
  • Technical understanding and knowledge of HPC and AI market and their network interconnects.
  • Excellent knowledge of the high-end interconnect market and solutions.
  • Expert team skills and ability to cross-functionally drive/influence work through others.
