About the position

The Technical Product Manager (TPM) will lead the digital product strategy within the banking sector, focusing on enhancing core banking systems and customer-facing applications. This role involves managing the entire product lifecycle, ensuring technical excellence, and aligning with business objectives while driving innovation and adopting Agile methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Define and drive the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for key digital products.
  • Own the program backlog, translating business requirements into detailed user stories and technical specifications.
  • Lead and participate in PI Planning sessions, working with Agile teams to prioritize deliverables.
  • Partner with engineering and DevOps teams to evaluate technical solutions and ensure scalability and security.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for cross-functional teams, ensuring clear communication of product requirements.
  • Champion a culture of continuous improvement by analyzing product performance and gathering feedback.
  • Leverage data analytics and KPIs to inform product decisions and drive improvements.
  • Coordinate software releases and manage post-launch analysis to track product performance.
  • Ensure product designs align with the bank's risk and compliance standards.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field; MBA or relevant certifications a plus.
  • 5+ years of experience in product management within software development, preferably in financial services or fintech.
  • Strong understanding of banking systems and familiarity with regulatory requirements.
  • Proven experience working with Agile frameworks, including SAFe, and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Technical acumen in software development, system architecture, APIs, and cloud platforms.
  • Exceptional communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in data analytics and performance tracking to inform product decisions.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance with industry standards.
  • Experience with cloud technologies (AWS, Azure) and modern financial APIs.
