About the position

Visa's CyberSource division is seeking a highly motivated Technical Product Manager (TPM) to serve as a payment domain expert. This hands-on role involves analyzing business requirements, studying payment processor specifications, and translating them into technical specifications for various teams. The TPM will work closely with engineers and analysts to build features and products that enhance the payment experience for merchants, partners, consumers, and developers. The position offers an opportunity to develop leadership skills and work in a dynamic environment focused on innovation and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Define business rules using proprietary tools and perform unit tests.
• Discuss technical implementation details with architects and technical teams.
• Partner with card acquirers, banks, and strategic partners for payment processing.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to build scalable payment processing platforms.
• Synthesize requirements into platform and service capabilities.
• Define product requirements and write detailed user stories for complex features.
• Act as the primary liaison between business units and technical teams for integration of features.
• Participate in daily scrum meetings and work closely with development and QA teams.
• Support GoTo Market activities by collaborating with various departments and external partners.
• Mentor team members on technical and project implementation questions.

Requirements

• 8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 5 years with an Advanced Degree, or 11+ years of relevant work experience.
• 6+ years of experience specifically in the Payment Gateway space.
• Experience with alternative payment methods like Wallets, Electronic Check, ACH, and Open Banking integrations.
• Knowledge of major card networks and 3DSecure protocols.
• Hands-on experience in developing roadmaps and writing user stories.
• Exceptional collaboration and partnership skills in a global environment.
• Strong project management skills and experience in an Agile environment.
• Solid technical knowledge in designing and building APIs.
