About the position

The Technical Product Manager for Teamcenter Visualization at Siemens Industry Software Inc. is a pivotal role within the Digital Industries organization, specifically focusing on the lifecycle collaboration software segment. This position is responsible for overseeing the strategy and direction of 3D visualization products within the Teamcenter portfolio, which includes Teamcenter Visualization for Digital Mockup, Active Workspace Visualization for BOM, and new applications related to the Industrial Metaverse. The role requires a comprehensive understanding of product management throughout all stages of the product life cycle, from concept development to end-of-life management. In this role, the Technical Product Manager will collaborate closely with various teams, including product marketing, sales, and SaaS governance/operations, to develop and execute successful product launch and go-to-market strategies. The position demands a strong ability to work with distributed development teams located across the US, Europe, and India, providing business use cases and requirements in a fast-paced Agile development environment. The manager will also be responsible for managing the product through its life cycle, ensuring it meets established goals for revenue and customer satisfaction. Additionally, the Technical Product Manager will establish managed early access environments for product evaluation with customers, conduct event demonstrations, and create marketing collateral. Gathering customer feedback, performing market trend analysis, and conducting competitive research are essential tasks to adjust the product strategy effectively. This role is ideal for a candidate who is passionate about industrial visualization capabilities and has a strong background in product management and software requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Define the strategy and direction for Teamcenter Visualization applications and solutions throughout all stages of the product life cycle.
  • Collaborate with product marketing, sales, and SaaS governance/operations on product launch and go-to-market strategy.
  • Work closely with distributed development teams to provide business use cases and requirements in an Agile development environment.
  • Manage the product through its life cycle to ensure it meets established goals for revenue and customer satisfaction.
  • Establish managed early access environments for product evaluation with customers and create marketing collateral.
  • Gather customer feedback, perform market trend analysis, and conduct competitive research to adjust product strategy.

Requirements

  • Graduate Bachelor's degree in engineering or related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with industrial visualization capabilities.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with Teamcenter as an end user, implementation service member, or developer.
  • Strong experience in deploying visualization and digital mockup solutions.
  • Strong experience in driving software requirements.
  • Strong presentation, communication, and listening skills.
  • Flexibility to work with colleagues and customers across the globe.
  • Based in Eastern or Central US time zone.
  • Willingness to travel (less than 5% of time).

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, Application Engineering, and/or Solution Architect roles.
