About the position

The Product Manager will be responsible for new device development, certification, and lifecycle management within the Business FWA Devices department of a telecommunications client. This role involves driving device OEMs to ensure on-time and high-quality launches of Cellular connectivity devices (4G/5G).

Responsibilities

• Defining, refining, and executing a streamlined process for onboarding device OEMs.
• Driving detailed technical requirements and test strategy for new product feature needs.
• Leading OEM and internal stakeholders on device features and services lockdown.
• Owning detailed development, certification, and launch schedule with OEMs and internal stakeholders.
• Creating cost and time-efficient strategies that address network and business customer needs.
• Planning and executing software updates to address field feedback, new feature requests, and return drivers.
• Managing device OEMs to improve device quality and performance by benchmarking network performance KPIs, call-in rate, and return rate.
• Identifying addressable customer feedback on existing products and defining future product requirements to address open needs.
• Partnering with sales and care teams to update training documents to drive resolution to common support issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of relevant work experience in Product Management/Device Development.
• Experience in the Mobile/Telecommunications industry, preferably in operating systems and feature development departments.
• Proven knowledge of 4G/5G and router/switch device ecosystems.
• Experience in process execution, development, and deployment of products and new technologies.
• Ability to handle collaboration with stakeholder management in a cross-functional environment.
