About the position

The Technical Product Manager at CGI will lead the development and enhancement of an AI tool to support the client's primary mission services. This role requires strong leadership skills to manage multiple stakeholders and effectively communicate with client leaders and technical architects. The position is hybrid, requiring in-office presence two days a week in Fairfax, VA, and involves adapting to evolving Federal policies.

Responsibilities

• Work with client leadership to capture business initiatives and translate them into a product roadmap.
• Build and manage a product roadmap.
• Lead product definition discussions and document business requirements, process flows, and business rules.
• Manage and mentor junior staff members contributing to this product line.
• Provide direction during daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, sprint demos, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Work closely with Business Analysts, Technical Architects, and subject matter experts to understand requirements and translate them into epics and stories.
• Participate in design meetings with other projects and the client's technical specialists.
• Work with other Agile teams to effectively design, build, and deliver cloud-based solutions.
• Coordinate integration testing across multiple teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in the Information Technology field focusing on development projects using Agile frameworks such as Scrum and Kanban.
• Ability to work with the client, end-users, and technical architects to build well-defined product plans and Agile epics.
• Experience delivering as part of Agile development teams and strong familiarity with Scrum or Kanban delivery models.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication skills.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience with SAFe methodologies.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Familiarity with SQL.
• Familiarity with JSON and Application Program Interface (API) definitions.
